     8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Strong safety leaders do more than enforce rules—they influence behaviors, mindsets, and lasting cultural change. This interactive workshop introduces the foundations of influential leadership and how they directly affect safety performance. Participants will explore the eight essential elements of effective influencer conversations, with practical suggestions and examples for applying them in real-world situations. Key leadership practices such as firsthand observation, strategic foresight, and embracing challenges as opportunities will be emphasized. With a mix of discussion and brief hands-on activities, attendees will leave with actionable skills to lead safety from a position of influence, not Authority.
